RxLink Browser Requirements

SQL or SQL Express 2005 - the database we need for our backend is based on Microsoft SQL. The user can opt for our FREE SQL Express version of the database backend or may purchase a license for Microsoft SQL Server from Microsoft.

(RxLink Browser is licensed by bed size. The number of users does not matter.)

Application Server
- IIS6
- Microsoft updates installed for running (.NET, AJAX, ReportServices)
- 32 bit recommended (64 bit currently un-tested)
- 1 GB, 2 GB recommended
- Cluster supported
SQL Server
- SQL 2005 (2008 not supported yet)
- Shared folder visible by IIS server (must be on SQL server)
- 2GB or more
- 64 bit is fine on the SQL server
Interface Servers
- .NET installed
- 1 GB, 2 GB recommended
- 32 bit recommended (64 bit currently untested)
- Cluster supported
CKO
- 2 GB required on whatever machine it's co-located (interface or application)
Single Server System
- 3 GB.
Client Machines
- Win2000+
- IE6 or IE7 (IE8 does *not* work)
- Adobe Reader (6 and higher tested)
- Access to printers (local or network)
Zebra Printers
- Seagull drivers required
