Hardware Costs

The hospital is responsible for installing the hardware and meeting hardware requirements. Please note hardware requirements.

Software Costs

New Install

There are no on site costs unless it is necessary that we go on site. If so, those costs will be billed back to the client at $750.00 per day plus airfare, lodging and rental car.

 

A guest user is either a NURSING department user or a PHYSICIAN. They will have GUEST capabilities only for their rights. They can view but make no changes. They can enter orders but their orders are not valid until a pharmacist validates them

Upgrade Fees for Upgrade from DOS product

If you are currently on the DOS product, these are the fees that would apply to upgrade to the Windows version.

Multi-user (number of users does not matter) - no interfaces  (This requires that you are already on a multi-user DOS product - in other words a multi-user to multi-user upgrade)	$4,000.00
Single user transfer to Windows with one interface to transfer (Example Pyxis profiles)	$3,000.00
Multi-user DOS to Multi-user Windows with ONE interface (example Pyxis Profiles)  ($4,000 plus $1,000)	$5,000.00
Multi-User DOS to Multi-user Windows with TWO interface (ADT and Pyxis Profiles)  ($4,000 plus $2,000)	$6,000.00
Note - each interface to transfer is $1,000.00

Scenario: Single user DOS product with one interface (Pyxis vending machine profiles and charges coming back from Pyxis) wishes to upgrade to the Multi-User Windows product. The costs would be:

1. Hardware - Hardware requirements for Windows product

2. Micromedex costs  -  (See Micromedex costs below)

3. The cost to upgrade to a multi-user product (what the price is for the multi-user version of the Windows product desired minus what was paid for the DOS product (you get full credit for what you have paid)

4. Multi-user upgrade fee of $2,000.00

5. Interface fee of $1,000.00

6. Interface fee for billing of $1,000.00 to do HL7 billing (if desired) otherwise all billing will be done manually from a printout.

The facility will be responsible for paying for the Micromedex clinical data files.

The support costs will be the same as a new installation. (See above)

Interfaces Costs with the Windows product

All interfaces with the Windows product conform to the HL7 standard version 2.3. As long as the interface conforms to this standard then each of the following interfaces is available:

Each of these interfaces are $1,000.00 one time fee and then $600.00 per year maintenance.  For example: the facility wants an ADT and Charges interface. This is $2,000.00 one time and then $1,000 per year after that for maintenance.

The cost for MICROMEDEX clinical decision support data is based on bed size.  The cost for your bed size from the chart below will be in addition to any fees charged by Crown. Prices good as of January 1, 2008.
